This proposal presents a solution for creating short-lived identity tokens without revealing the Nostr public key (npub) or any personally identifiable information (PII). By employing elliptic-curve cryptography (ECC), specifically the sidh algorithm, users can create temporary, anonymous identity tokens. These tokens can then be used for various scenarios requiring anonymous interaction, such as 👉🏻anonymous voting or 👉🏻private messaging. The proposed method is designed to be secure against quantum computing attacks 🛡️and doesn't disclose any metadata 🗃️ or PII. Further improvements could involve implementing additional post-quantum cryptographic algorithms or employing zero-knowledge proofs for enhanced privacy. #nostr #grownostr #nostrdevs #zaps
