Used a water witch for the first time today. I was able to detect a propane line about 8 inches beneath my feet underground with nothing but these two thin metal wires that responded by crossing over themselves. Asked ChatGPT about it and learned it’s mechanism isn’t understood or explained by our current scientific models.

It’s got me feeling emotional because it highlights that there is still so much for us to learn about our world and many mysteries left to uncover.

There are cave paintings in North Africa that are 8,000 years old that show people using forked sticks to do “water dowsing”.

Nobody knows how it works, or how anyone discovered this method.
