Europe is already on the right side of the Laffer Curve, so any further increases in taxation will reduce actual revenue. If they want to increase revenue, they need to adopt the program of Javier Milei. Otherwise they can go after public services, but this is very carefully orchestrated to buy the popular support they need, so cutting it is a great way to start the unravelling of the European Project.

It's not that I'm pro taxation.

But the state making less revenue sounds almost - let's say 'appealing'.
