You'd also never see modern electronics ever again since the total manufacturing process is ridiculously complex, and the raw materials are spread across the world. Shit, most couldn't even sustain a colonial America standard of living just because of the metal. It'd be an absurdly huge undertaking just to mine and smelt the metal to make the tools and the nails required to build a period appropriate home.
