Once a week I attend a practice session with deaf and hearing individuals for the purpose of honing my asl fluency.

I don’t really talk about work during the sessions but somehow today it came up. I shared the name of my business and then got this message from someone in the class.

On a day when I got a “sorry we’ve no discretionary funds for the rest of 2024,” email, this message was heartening.
