If the many worlds theory is correct then your future is already written in infinite possibilities. This means you literally control which future you get (duh) and literally anything can be the outcome (at least strongly probable, not necessarily guaranteed).

“You can be anything you want to be” is not just a feel good thing we say to kids - it’s a true statement. Taking an action collapses other realities into the one you wish to be in and edges you closer to your goals.

Having the right attitude and taking action is crucial to the outcome you desire because it already happened in one or more of those realities and you need to align into the correct one.

It may also mean we never die but shit realities that just get us to the future we act into.

But you can't control the probabilities or the outcome at each step.

The probability distribution is determined by the history of prior outcomes.

I guess that's where parenting can affect an outcome - constructing a child's environment to lead to a desirable distribution.

No free will anywhere tho. It's turtles all the way down!

Not in a many worlds theory. Your probably history is irrelevant because the timelines are infinite. You could flip 100 heads and that would be perfectly fine.
