Communism involves central power, but capitalism is essentially the same, if not worse. Communists, however, aim to serve a purpose for people, such as building infrastructure. I don’t support any central authority, but I do agree with building infrastructure and tools for everyone; Universal Basic Income is an example of this communist approach. I was raised with socialist values and tend to view capitalism as greedy and selfish, though I haven’t done a critical analysis of anarcho-capitalism. I plan to read core texts to critique it further.
