Real change would require something no state or politician will voluntarily do:

reduce its own power and size.

That’s why every promise of reform collides with the economic foundation beneath it. You can change the leaders, but not the rules of the game.

As long as money is created and governed politically, politics will shape money, not the other way around. In that dynamic, politicians don’t change the system, the system changes the politicians.
