I doubt you can solve it. I remember being in high school and asking the older kids to buy cigarettes for us.

Vapes just made that problem wayyyy worse because they are just as addicting but they don't smell horrible and don't have the same stigma as cigarettes attached to them

Yeah solving is probably not possible, but how’d would you go about decreasing the amount of kids vaping these days

Make vaping uncool. Attach the same "ewwwh you smoke?" stigma to it

But that feels impossible too. Teenagers tend to do the opposite of what figures of authority (government, teachers, parents, etc) tell them. You gotta make it societally unacceptable to vape. Like we did with cigarettes (or at least tried to)

Atleast you could smell who was smoking a cigarette and you had to actually do it outside. Feels like mission impossible tbh

Adding a crazy high tax on vapes to make them unaffordable for adolescents could work

But I'm not super keen on using taxes as nudges to control the behaviour of a society

It’s just gonna make the black market bigger, and even harder to control tbh in the future

Potentially. It would make it more tedious to get your hands on hands on a cheap vape thoug. And introduce a higher psychological barrier

Either way. I hate to see it too but there's no easy fix

Absolutely. Either we make the legal selling so popular, that selling on a black market is just a waste of time, or we move it to the other extreme, trying to stop all legal selling of it. Curious how the governments are going to go about it tbh
