I think #AI gaslighting is quite common. Once I caught an AI sharing an unverified and dubious claim related top a topic I was asking about (my question was general and not specifically related to the dubious claim). I then challenged the AI to provide more information on the dubious claim then it finally admitted that yes, the claim was dubious and unverified. However, when asked why he specifically shared this information with me considering the dubious nature of the claim, instead of recognizing having made a mistake, he tried to convince me that he did it because I first asked about it whereas I never had asked about it specifically until he shared it with me. We had many back and forth but it kept gaslighting me that I was the one who inquired about it first.
