Oh raw milk has way more good stuff in it than store bought stuff.I filter or boil my water so I don't get Giardia. As for legality I think we can agree the state has overreached. Maybe they can put a sin tax on raw milk like cigs.

it also should be pointed out that concurrently with this idiotic abusing of milk, dairies improved their hygiene and people in general were washing their hands more, and these were bigger drivers behind the reduction of nasty GI tract infections.

not only that, nowadays, the "milk" coming out of the cows, fed on antibiotics, seed feeds with a bazillion additives and pesticide residues, is not fit to drink at all if not pasteurised, and even then, a pale imitation of real milk.

healthy cows, clean milking and storage containers, and people washing their damn hands is far more important than boiling teh life out of the milk.
