compression actually just means “smol file size” and it’s best practice on P2P protocols

On nostr, we trust peers to host our data but hosting data comes with a cost… when we make our files tiny it’s less $$$ for the host (relay provider)… this means our network stays free & open 😻

It also means that people that have limited data have a smoother experience and won’t give up on your video half way through due to buffers so it’s better for you as a creator…

All in all, everyone benefits when we compress our files
