What does that even mean? I hate the term "progressive" it's so open ended.
progressive — favoring or promoting reform (often by government action)
is that all progressive means?

That's what I mean, open ended. Who doesn't want to reform this or that. Sure , a lot of us here wouldn't mind no government at all , or a minimal one leastways , but progressive just seems like a daft distinction.
I do however have a sense of what it "means" if you get me.
Pronouns and diversity hiring, wheelchair access for crippled pets, free fidget spinners and vaping pens for autistic gamers etc...
It's not explicitly defined as such , but people know what is implied when they hear the word "Progressive" . It translates to "bullshit" in my head .
