I’m in the middle of several books, but I’m always looking for another one. The English department always has bookshelves of books to take in the halls, and I can never help but look (and sometimes take one).

1984 (reading it again as I teach it)

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck

Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man

What are you all reading?

Dunno if you have kindle unlimited, but if you do my book is free on it. It's called The Infection of Hell. It's a dystopia, which features a demon apocalypse, and the fight of good vs evil. It's definitely out there, but check it out if you'd like :)

Oooooooo! We do have it, and that sounds totally up my alley! Thank you!

Mid way through Moby Dick. I never read it as a kid so making up for it now!

I’ve also got Vinay Gupta’s “The Future of Stuff” and “The Promise of Artificial Intelligence” by Brian Cantwell Smith on my bedside stand.

Btw #bookstr is the “official” tag for books!

Thank you!

I’ve never read it either. Thoughts?

Struggling a little tbh. But I think I’m spacing out my reading too much aka too much on. I am close to meeting the books main character though, will definitely read that far at least!

You’ll have to keep me updated on your thoughts!

Wow must be interesting teaching students 1984 these days!

I’m reading Creativity Without Law- Challenging the Assumptions of Intellectual Property by Kate Darling and Aaron Perzanowski. #bookstr

It is interesting and challenging. I teach the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. It’s pretty awesome (most of the time).

🤯

This is super intriguing.

That's great that you can let students read "The Subtle Art..."!

lately just code but I need to pick up a book
