I think it’s a good point actually, piracy debate aside.
It’s like if someone wants to stop drinking because it “costs” too much (money, health, relationships, time) they should replace that habit with something constructive such as exercise.
Similarly it’s a fine suggestion that if netflix costs too much, replace it with something entirely different and better
