I’ve been wanting this for a while because when combined with Lightning we now have not just a great reminder system, but a super-effective accountability measure.
If you disagree with someone’s prediction/future action, challenge them to a zap bet and invoke the bot - how people react to the challenge, to being right/wrong, and follow through with payment will determine a lot about their reputation. A critical component on Nostr.
Will be very easy to tally who gets their challenges right and wrong, who pays/doesn’t, accepts/doesn’t.
Thats PredictIt on a social app where reputation is of extreme importance (see https://verifiedhuman.net). Nostriches are financially and reputationaly incentivised to think and act straight; super Ancap 😂
Hopefully you try this bot as a utility and use it to follow things you find interesting - that’s you being your own algorithm, feeding your mind the content you want to.
But you can put your money where your mouth is now too, allowing Users to build reputation through quality CORRECT content.
