Glorious day on the water yesterday!

We covered 74 nautical miles in about 12 hours, averaging 6.1 knots with 8-12 knots of apparent wind at a 70 degree angle. Sails full most the way.

Motor-sailed into port after dark, which was both exhilarating and a little nerve-racking for me. A review of the lights on the buoys and ships is definitely in order.

Noticed a few more things to fix (of course). Spreader lights need attention, and we always say this after a sail, but a lazy bag would be a huge help.

Taking notes and learning every mile. 🌅⛵️
