⚡️💬 WATCH - Ford CEO Jim Farley thinks that humans want to master driving & take pride in trying to master it.

"It's a skill. I worry about how much autonomy is the right level of autonomy before we start losing the basic skills of awareness in a car; Autonomy can't substitute good driving"

Horsemanship! Its a dying breed.

Driving a vehicle controlled only by yourself is part of the personal sovereignty stack IMHO, we just don't talk about it much because it's currently the norm, but it won't always be.

I plan to always have at least one vehicle that isn't connected to any networks and I can 100% control.

Yeah I have that -- it's called a "bicycle."

Bonus -- no government ID or registration required. Free parking.

Driving can be fun for sure. Also, the time I spent in a self driving car did not feel great. It feels lame and weak. Sure if I were sick or very run down self driving is nice but it's lame when you are healthy.

It’s good to see & hear Jim speaking on this 🤝

Good comment. I'd like to see Ford master how to make a good vehicle again.
