The chinese copy of flipper arrived today. The case itself isn't that good (cheap plastic) and feels bulkier.
But the good part: muuuch cheaper, Wi-Fi, proper speaker and color display, rotating wheel and magnets to fix it on metal surfaces. It doesn't has an ecosystem of apps yet.
So what kind of firmware is it running? The F0 has been on my wish list for years, but I'm open to exploring other (cheaper) options.
Flipper is a fun and expensive toy, but just that. You ain't missing much but really good platform and flipper hardware.
That firmware is just the default. I've bought it to support lilygo in producing more of these things, I won't be using that device at all.
The new ESP32 will be released this year with 5G Wi-Fi support. Then it will be more interesting for things like Wi-Fi deauthing.
