For anyone interested, this is a native Louisiana iris. The bearded are beautiful but this bad boy makes my heart swell.
I thought it was a Dutch going off the picture.
Whats the scientific name for those so I can nerd out?

I looked up Dutch irises because of your comment. They do look very similar. I was so stoked to see this native pop up because I have been wanting some natives for a while. I didn't even know these were planted amongst the beardeds I've got.
