That's the magic word I think. There's no skin in the game for politicians who take decisions that affect a huge number of the population Even if there are a large number of deaths involved, there's no accountability.

A pilot has skin in the game. A politician has zero. It's like remotely controlling a full airplane while at the same time taking a shower. Taking the most interest in themselves while taking on full risk on others.
