Well... The absolute easiest way is to use a good custodial wallet like "Wallet of Satoshi". And the next step would be a wallet like Breez or Phoenix. Those are self custody. I would start with WoS and get used to that first. Install the app. It's fairly simple to use.

Ohh. Maybe I misunderstood something. I have both wos and phoenix. That’s no issue.
But I can only zap profiles. I can’t zap someone’s post on Damus. I wondered if there was a way to zap a post in the same way I can “like” a post.
Oh sorry! I misunderstood. Not you. So... Your issue has to do with Damus, and I will be of no help as an android/Amethyst user. But here is what it looks like in that app. I also believe Apple has chosen to be restrictive and what they will allow Damus to do but I'm not following that story deeply...

I will say, the user experience across nostr and lightning network is getting better and better but it's still a little bit frictiony in my opinion. I think having wallets native to the app and possibly things like Bolt 12 are going to make this much smoother as we move forward
