Where I teach, the school records all of the in-person class via in class cameras and online classes too. Some private students do not like that. So I don't record. Then, they ask "why you don't record?"

Now, the school implement auto-recording system. Still, the teacher needs to start the zoom app of the class computer. It is recommended to start the zoom 5 min before the class.

The school says it is for students (so that they can review the class contents). However, it is more about surveillance. They want to make sure that the teacher teaches the way that they want them to teach, and know what they chat with students.

I feel not motivated at all when I am constantly watched and checked by the boss.
