There isn’t really an American analogy for UK.

If you moved everyone in California to Florida, and then moved everyone in Texas to Florida, and then moved NYC to Florida and then snapped the Florida panhandle off the mainland and towed it all the way up the East coast to Nova Scotia… then you would have the UK.
