Anyone able to assist me with an nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm issue? I began setting up my node and went to send the initial funds to get it going but the payment failed. I contacted support for my wallet and they said:

Failure_reason_incorrect_payment_details". This could mean a few things that we don't have specific information about. It could be that the invoice was already paid, or it was incorrect.

Whatever the case, no funds moved. It just failed. So my Alby node is showing as offline (I assume because the transaction didn’t complete, so I’m wondering what my options are. I don’t see a way to “repay” the invoice. Do I delete the node and open a new one?

First time working with alby and I’m a little lost.

I assume from the "Alby node" language that you are talking about Alby Hub. Are you running it as a standalone node, or are you running it alongside an LND instance you already had set up on something like an Umbrel or Start9?

If the former, have you already opened a channel? You cannot receive via Lightning (invoice) if you don't have a channel open that has inbound liquidity. You will first need to receive on-chain and then open a channel, or buy an inbound channel.

In Alby Hub, go to Node > Advanced > Deposit Bitcoin to get on-chain funds into your node that can be used for opening channels.

Thank you. Trying this now. And you were correct - I’m using Alby Hub.
