OpenAI is reportedly testing a new model called gpt-5-reasoning-alpha-2025-07-13, signaling that GPT-5 may soon launch, with researchers suggesting it will integrate advances from previous models for improved reasoning capabilities.
Perhaps this one may actually be decent. They are so far behind Claude, Gemini, and other it's laughable.
