Keep them in a wet paper towel and mist it with a spray bottle daily until shoots start. I don't *really* know but it sounds promising.

Try a pencil or popsicle stick

Once they are ready just cut out the paper towel and leave it on the compost, cover with a little moe compost.

Once germinatied and at the true leaf stage prick out 👍🏻
