No, it doesn't. Skin cancer is a new phenomenon that has strong correlation with the introduction of seed oils and sunscreen. Seed oils cause whole body inflammation and prevent sun-based hormone D generation. Stay away from sunscreen, use coconut oil instead. Build a tan instead of going 0 to 100.

I mean absolutely beautifully said
As best I can tell sun exposure isn't particularly good for you.
On the other hand the benefits you received from outdoor activity. Generally far outweigh the negatives.
If it really involves activity, not just laying in the Sun warming yourself like lizards on a rock. Do that in the shade. Wear protective clothing.
The increase in cancers mostly has to do with the increase in exposure for the purpose of being seen. To facilitate biologic imperatives. Like sex and mating.
Sun exposure is particularly implicated in cataract formation. So always wear sunglasses. I hate sunglasses. But they are essential.
Unless I'm trapesing through a jungle or forest with loads of dangerous wild animals. Then I want my vision and hearing sharp at all times..ππ
