As far as who to follow- look through the follows of people you like and you’ll always find some good accounts, both big and small

Make sure you comment on things you’re interested in and start having conversations that way. Otherwise it can feel like posting into the void when you start out. Also use a few hashtags for visibility (but don’t spam them like some people do lol)
