Today I'm deeply grateful for refrigeration and food preservation.

The ability to save food for extended periods of time is a foundational technology that so much of our society subsists upon. The ability to live in massive cities is completely dependent upon our ability as a species to store our food energy across time.

I am so thankful to live Ina time when this exists, a technology so revolutionary, that even kings in the past couldn't fathom of it.
