The FAA created new RC aircraft rules that take effect in this September, where you are required to put a (bluetooth) broadcast module on aircraft that gives aircraft and/or pilot (gps) location.

Or you can fly without one at an FAA approved site ran by a (FAA approved) community organization.

One of the community based organization's headquarters flying site has been denied.

None of these rules has anything to do with safety. It is all about government overreach and mass surveillance.
