Started making these. For one person (myself) I save so much time just mixing an egg, 35g of flour, 10g of casein, 150g of fat milk, a pinch of salt and just shake it in a protein shaker bottle. Then, for the cast iron frying pan, I don't even hassle with knife and butter. After each pancake, I just use the butter as a stick and grease it that way. Less waste of butter, don't even have to dish it (or any knife). Speed pancakes FTW! πŸ˜ƒ

Exactly! The casein is not essential, just an added protein. Casein (neutral flavor or chocolate might work) is better than whey protein for cooking, because it turns into jelly and helps bind the pancakes. πŸ˜„ Thanks for zap!
