You don't think Australia will be affected somehow? I think if war blows up in Europe, China will exert dominance in the South China Sea.. they pretty much own Australia and NZ.

Australia is VERY big, you can get lost in the outback for years.

Malta is the most invaded territory in the history of mankind.

All plans are fluid, multiple options are the key.
