For all the promising things I see with Nostr, the least common are hard skills.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Who should I follow?

Anyone you want?

In other words, "I don't have an answer".

No. That's a pretty legit answer. That's no algorithm here. You need to interact with people and find out who is interesting

What are "hard skills?

Welding, metal fabrication, plumbing, mechanical repair, etc.

Do you not follow hashtags? I post to #welding fairly regularly. I'm about the only one that does, even if I know two other fabricators.

I do. That's how I found your work.

Cool. There's just not a lot of people outside the tech space yet but... That's why it's fun to be among the first.

Good point.

Yup. It's a good chance to build up that community, and I really hope to do that.

I'm with you on that. I enjoy your posts.

Thanks!

Stop speaking in riddles, what are you talking about?

he is a fancyy hr agent I guess?

Nope

Nothing "riddle" like about it.

Being interested in an emerging technology like Nostr is great, but my timeline is primarily devs and people in tech.

That generally means I'm missing something and am curious who would be good to follow.

Aqui

Followed!

What counts? Like, welders?

There are several welders, woodworkers, a plumber, and an HVAC tech I know of here at least.
