Hey Calle question about adding more decimal places to bitcoin. I remember reading a satsohi post on bitcoin talk about being able to add 6 more decimal places. Would that require a hard fork ?!

True, but this is instead achieved on layer 2s, so the fork will likely never be required.
That would make a sat worth 1,000,000 nano sats or whatever becomes the name for the 14 decimal place.
As the number goes up it will become increasingly important we start to add more decimals so we can continue to send micro transactions. At 100k a sat becomes a 1/10 of a penny and also the smallest amount of value that can be sent.
Objectively worse than sats.
some ATMs still use this abomination
