The only drawback with this is that there is a limit to how many people you can follow to generate a timeline. Which is a shame.
Pro-tip if you don't want to use twitter, but still want to follow some prominent accounts in a chronological timeline;
Enter https://nitter.poast.org
In the settings, enter a comma-separated list of user accounts to follow to create a local timeline. Also you can activate javascript for infinite scroll.
Back-up your list, since its only saved locally.
