Regardless of what Las Vegas uses, mining is an incredible waste of energy. If they could create ways to harness the heat that comes off of them, that would certainly mitigate the impact, instead of wasting more energy for air conditioning.
That is kinda true. In terms of heat production tho. Would be nice if people used the excess heat to it’s fullest potential! I believe there are some spa’s out there that use the heat from miners to heat up their pools tbh
