What variety of fig are you growing up there? Do you have to do anything special to protect it in winter?
I love how they get more productive so fast π of the three fig trees my family has, the one planted in the best spot seemed exponentially productive per year and has grown HUGE
I know one of them is brown turkey, but cant remember the other variety. I have two of them. And i dont give them any special protection in winter, except they do have mulch near the roots.

Mine are a cutting from a family member I will try to find oit the variety. Its potted and i move it into the garage for the winter.
