So one thing I noticed as bitcoin was 'shooting up' today... I DIDN'T feel like shit. I DIDN'T feel like I missed out. I DIDN'T feel like I was too late. Because a point a couple years ago when I felt like shit, and that I messed out and was too late, I heard @`jackspirko` say something along the lines of "...the early adopters of bitcoin, and there's STILL TIME to be one... ". He then went on to talk about how few people actually held bitcoin, a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the people in the world. Then he discussed what 1% of humanity wanting bitcoin does to the value / price of bitcoin.
He'd already taught me about the dollar, and how it was losing value every day, but hell, living 50 years teaches you that eventually anyway. But the realization and understanding that THAT is the plan. It wasn't a flaw, or a 'problem' with the system that everyone is working diligently to solve; it IS the system. A system every american, and much of the world, has suffered under and been robbed by EVERY DAY of their lives.
And now there's an alternative. Now you can take your value and exit their system. You don't have to go down with THEIR ship (they certainly won't). Hell, the people who got in a little before me already have their yachts! But that's not my point.
We're still SO early in all this, you are NOT too late to exit their system. The reasons you 'should have' are still valid, and so you still should. You'll find less financial return on it, just as I have seen less return than the folks who bought at $1000, or than they did with folks who bought at $50, but you'll stop feeling like shit every time bitcoin jumps up. And you'll reap all the objective benefits of exiting fiat.
Start now.
