United victim here. I was on Blue Cross for my $460,000 cancer surgery that saved my life. Employer switched to United post-surgery. They refused to cover my 3 and 6 month office follow ups with my surgeons who wanted to screen for more cancer (kinda important).

Then someone ransom-wared their site. My docs said their United patients can't even be billed. Recently their site went back up, bills arrived .... a day later our hero did his task in NYC.

Scrambling for $1400 now. I'm coming up on 20 months cancer free.
