I dined out earlier this year and asked what the French fries were fried in.
The waiter told me that they were fried in a soybean oil and canola oil blend, but he said it in a way that he thought I was going to be pleasantly surprised.
So I said “Oh amazing!” then proceeded to leave.
I want to wake up in a world where the waiters say that they fry their foods in seed oils with this look of shame and embarrassment on their face.
