I was thinking about this when I was shooting hoops today.

A big part of my healthy relationship with money was developed because my parents gave me a weekly $2 allowance and a piggy bank, and allowed me to use it how I pleased. It taught me a lot about savings and responsibility.

How do you help your kids learn how to interact with money in a positive way under a Bitcoin standard? It seems like it presents new challenges, especially if you want to prevent your kids from having full on internet access until they are much older.

Agreed they have no internet access my oldest is only ten I feel like that is still to young for social media or even the internet but she does use it for school with limited access. When it comes to Bitcoin or even money they still have a hard time understanding the concept. So I’m having my oldest read the Bitcoin diploma every chapter and a book report on every chapter for the chance to score some sats from daddy and of course I have chores around the house with a sat amount whom ever does the chore gets the sats I’m trying to start small to get them excited seems to be working IMO

Very cool to hear. Those all sound like wise decisions - I first got on social media around 12 and looking back I think that was far too early.

I’m sure Bitcoin parents will continue to learn and work on ways to pass down good habits to their children. The capitalist in me thinks there could even be a market for a child friendly hardware wallet or something along those lines. A cute, user friendly digital Bitcoin piggy bank is a fun thing to imagine at a minimum lol

That’s a great thought been trying new ways to get my kids involved in Bitcoin that sounds like a great way to onboard the next generation I’d support that idea..
