I live in Anchorage, AK and we've got more weed shops than convenient stores. We passed a law that basically treats weed the same way as alcohol.

We don't have lounges yet, but they're suppose to be authorized soon, we don't currently because we have no smoking indoors laws and it creates a catch 22.

But also growing for personal use and possession have been legal here since the late 70s (early 80s?). The only thing illegal was selling.
