Does posts on exploding heads on nostr only show up in that community? If so what is the benefit of this feature. Seems counter productive for growth

No not really. It also shows up on your profile as a regular post. It may be true that there is yet no client that allows browsing post from all communities. Or a subset of communities . But only because no one has made one yet. I am researching making one but tbh someone will probably add it to satellite before I get it working. I want to have a all like reddit, a browse by relay, browse by subscribe. You just gotta wait it's so new. We already have the most popular community on nostr . That's how early we are on this.
