Discussion time folk: When was the last time the console wars were actively being fought? I can't remember it mattering after the PS3 and Wii to be honest. PlayStation is a generic game console now, so is XBOX but with even less effort and Nintendo plays Nintendo IP's for a wider audience.

Don't forget to emulate the best and greatest stuff on a computer friends

Probably the 360/PS3 era, but even then there were cracks showing because Nintendo decided to bow out and do its own thing. Everyone scoffs at the idea of console wars now, but its what gave these consoles their identity. Now we are in this gray too era where everything can be played on anything so who cares. I kind of miss it.
