If you are born in Iran, Russia or North Korea, you are excluded from using chat gpt, midjourney, aws and many more tech and services, which are taken for granted by the western world? VPN fixes some things, like accessing Google search and Instagram accounts, but whenever payments are involved, there’s not much one can do.

There seemed to be two options: convince tech giants to accept #bitcoin and stop requiring KYC (yeah, like that’s gonna happen) or search for friends who are willing to pay for the services you need.

Few expected a third option, where developers create open source tools, available to everyone.
