Saw this. Immediately thought of John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
We've seen examples of people doing this for others. Sacrificial love is there. We want those we love to succeed and thrive. Parents want this for their children, spouses can want this, you see people shield others from injury or death with their own bodies etc ... Jesus embodied this by dying on the cross.
