tell me again why moderated reddit-style communities are a good thing? we're building our own reddit-style community spec, with blackjack and hookers.

Have people been arguing for it? All I've seen is that some want reddit style communities, where there is a title separate from the content, an about, pinning, etc. Not seen anyone asking for mods
