A normie friend whom I am desperately trying to save from fiat collapse is arguing that total scarcity is bad because he who has the biggest HODL and won’t spend it affect badly on all the rest i.e everyone will be left fighting for the pieces left.

1. True monetary scarcity is something we encounter for the first time in human history so we have no idea where it will bring us

2. The economy keep floating as long as you produce value and are getting paid in such scarce asset, and save it

3. This asset will indefinitely increase in value so the purchasing power of you saving will increase with time

What other arguments can I bring to orange pill the poor bastard? Give me your beat ones

let's assume you're right and that's true. would you rather fight for the pieces now while they're cheap or wait until after a few billion more people join the fight?

It doesn't look like he wants to be saved. He's probably finds it strange and annoying why you you care so much if he buys bitcoin or not. Don't worry, when he needs it, bitcoin will be ther for him too, "at the price he deserves"

In the meantime, you can tell him to #HFSP or, to be more polite, quote Satoshi:

"If you don’t believe it or don’t get it, I don’t have the time to try to convince you, sorry."
