Complex and I feel like an idiot when I try to digest the information.

I get a certain inconclusive feeling that we don't know anything for sure, other than there are many periods of great climatic variance and shifts in temperature, rapid, and decades long, throughout the helicon era.

Is that about correct?

You are directionally correct though these climatic oscillations typically take place over multiple centuries, not decades. That and there have been dramatic climate shifts in every epoch. Though the Holocene has been relatively stable and relatively warm - something humanity is currently taking for granted.

There have been periods with much faster temperature rate of change (vs the past 150 years that humans are worried about) and the atmospheric temperature maximums have been significantly higher during some of these periods. All have reversed on their own via mechanisms that aren’t fully understood by humans. All have happened with no human co2 impacts.

The earth’s atmospheric temps are cyclic and completely out of humankind’s control. We have other stuff to worry about and there are things humanity can address and impact now.

Np happy to share. The Greenland ice core data is 99%+ accurate proxy science and was the most accurate (least perturbed) glacier on earth to get cores from. This was a huge, well funded and very serious scientific undertaking that took 6 years and was done by the best drilling / analysis teams in the world. It’s a very cool story actually.

This ice core data is objectively accurate and it is the answer to this entire climate change psyop; nothing abnormal is happening with earth’s climate upon zoom-out. The data to prove this has existed for decades. It’s just that 99% of people won’t go find it and the news certainly won’t tell you about it.
